If I had to rate “Crazy Kind of Love”, it would be somewhere between great and spectacular. There are too many reasons to count as to why I liked this movie so much, and I would have to take notes while watching a movie, in order to list all the reasons, beyond great acting and great dialogue throughout the movie.
As far as dating advice goes, this movie is invaluable in several major respects:
First, the whole movie is one long and comprehensive guide to flirting through strong eye contact, body language and conversation. If you want to see strong yet realistic romantic and sexual chemistry, this is the movie to watch.
Secondly, this movie teaches men how not to be boring and vanilla. Given how often people complain about being bored on a date or feeling that they are boring the other person, this movie provides plenty of examples of what to say and how to say it to have an interesting, stimulating conversation. Many dialogues in this movie are a reminder that even the most simple conversation can be interesting if it’s not cliche and does follow the typical “What do you do?” and “Where are you from?” script. And if you often find yourself at a loss of words on a date, this movie might just jump start your conversational creativity.
The movie has quite a few examples of the differences in behavior between guys who are alpha and who are beta.
This movie also demonstrates that great chemistry is not necessarily defeated by early/premature sex, but in fact it can be enhanced by it. And as important sense of humor is in men, this movie shows that sharp wit is one thing that makes a great woman irresistible.
Lastly, the movie shows a realistic situation where a man chooses a cute girl with exceptional personality over an exceptionally hot girl with a nice personality.
There is much more to this movie and I highly recommend it, as when you watch you, you will surely be able to combine “business with pleasure”. You will enjoy great romance unfold on the screen, which is in some ways a comedy and in some ways a touching drama. At the same time you will learn so many things about flirting and attraction.
