Why Capturing Her Attention With Your First Message Matters
As we get loaded and overloaded with more and more information, and our attention span becomes shorter and shorter, it becomes even more important to capture the attention of our audience, whoever they might be, as early as possible. This applies as much to sales as it does to messaging women. If she has received a few dozen “hi”s and “hey”‘s that week and hundreds or thousands of those since she signed up for Bumble or whatever other app you are using, the last thing she is going to respond is another super generic, super overused one-word opener.
You are much better off skipping the small talk altogether, skipping the “nice to meet you” pleasantries and diving right into whatever it is you can that’s relevant, based on her profile. For instance, if she says “I love reading” – share immediately a book you read that you really enjoyed and ask her if she read anything recently that she found to be especially interesting and meaningful, and what made it such. This will both make you stand out from 99% of the other guys who message her and will also help you open a much more interesting conversation with her.
And, guess what – women want to see that your message is directed to them and not to just any female. The more it’s obvious that you read her profile before you wrote to her, the more attractive and intruguing your message will be to her.
